Yarra Valley ECOSS need help for Working Bee

The Valley Market ECOSS are up and running on Friday 29 April at the usual time of 3.30pm to 6pm

Meeting at 711 Old Warburton Rd Wesburn, there will be the usual display local fresh produce.

However, they also need help for a working bee at 9am on Saturday 30 April. ECOSS regulars are gathering to create a new garden bed in their community garden, to create a more useable space for their gardeners of all abilities and they would appreciate any help they can get.

A free lunch will be provided for those who come help out. Please text 0416181171 to RSVP for catering purposes.

They will also discuss their vision and plans to create a Food Forest and invite people to become part of the team making it happen- or simply help rake out some mulch.

Attendees are advised to bring rain jackets, there is only a little rain expected. If it is heavy rain, there are some inside jobs to complete too.

For the market, regular stalls are back again, with an array including:

Silvertine Farm with their large range of fresh veggies,

Melganics with fresh fruit, veg, dairy, dry goods and some Easter treats!

Leavenly Bodies Bread will have delicious Hot Cross Buns as well as the usual range of bread,

Gooligulch Farm with fruit ice cream, eggs and their delicious strawberries

Tonantzin Chocolate with Tacos and Aztec Artisan Chocolate Easter Eggs and

Heart Felt with her beautiful felted animals and other crafts!
