Hillcrest and Seville CFAs are inviting residents of Launching Place, Woori Yallock, Don Valley and Seville to join for an informative and practical fire safety planning workshop on Sunday 14 December.
With summer shaping up to be a hot one, according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s recent long range forecast overview, it’s vital residents are prepared for bushfires.
The event will be run at Hillcrest Fire Station, 1763 Warburton Hwy, Woori Yallock, from 9.30am–12.30pm.
At the session, you’ll learn local fire risks specific to the area, how to stay informed during fire season, understanding bushfire behaviour, how to create your own personalised bushfire plan, this summer’s seasonal outlook and what it means for you.
