WHYLD Winter Warming Bonfire Night is on this month

Upper Yarra residents are invited to WHYLD’s Winter Warming Bonfire Night to celebrate the winter solstice on Sunday 22 June.

The event goes from 4-7pm at the 1st Woori Yallock Scouts Hall, Shevlins Lane, Woori Yallock Reserve.

A gold coin donation entry is required, which is donated to the Hillcrest CFA.

Bring warm winter woolies to keep yourself toasty, or purchase them form the Yarra Valley Red Cross stall.

Live music will be available with Richard Brown and Bluebird, and hot drinks and alcohol free mulled wine from Yarra Valley Red Cross.

There are plenty of food options for the night, including sausage sizzle, roasted chestnuts and toasted marshmallows.

Enjoy the magic of fire and light with WHYLD’s lantern parade.
