On Tuesday 8 April, the federal election candidates for Casey will gather at the Alpine Hotel for this election’s Politics at the Pub.

The pub is located at 3340 Warburton Highway, Warburton and attendees will have the rare chance to put their burning questions forward their potential representatives and engage in robust discussions.

The event will start at 7pm and go to 9pm.

With Casey residents going to the polls on Saturday 3 May, the election is less than a month away.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy a drink and/or meal, and politely bring the questions and concerns to ask candidates.

Merran Blair (Greens), Naomi Oakley (Labor), Aaron Violi (Liberal) and Claire Ferres Miles (Independent) will be attending the event.

From the 2016 census and 2019 electoral data, approximately 45.8% of eligible voters in Warburton voted, and approximately only 41% of those votes were formal votes or completed correctly.

Politics at the Pub is a great opportunity to become more informed and active in the world of politics.

Warburton local Mel Audrey will be the MC for the event.
