Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged a man just before Christmas following an alleged armed robbery in Wandin North in September.
The alleged robbery occurred at a business in the Wandin North Shopping precinct on 4 September about 8pm.
On 17 December, detectives executed a search warrant at a residential address in Monbulk and arrested a 40-year-old man.
He has since been charged and remanded in custody.
