It’s a no-brainer if you have young kids and a worthwhile event for all. The classic move is to get some fish and chips to dig into during the event. Find a local carols event, grab a picnic rug and sit down and enjoy the (hopefully) warm summer weather.

Always great to take a drive or a walk to see the array of light displays around town, especially to get some fresh air on one of the many sultry nights to come. Nothing gets the spirit going more in the lead-up to Christmas than the fantastic colours of the season. Keeping up on local social media groups will point you to spots worth visiting.
