Eat light
If you are planning a get-together this weekend, maybe prepare light meals with high fluid content. It will keep everyone cooler and hydrated during the heat. Soups are a good direction and it’s a perfect excuse to buy a watermelon to chop up.
Replace alcohol with water
Might be hard to resist a cold beer in the heat, but as everyone truly knows it doesn’t really help with the heat in the long run. It will dehydrate you further and you are better off focusing on getting enough water down.
Keep your skin safe and cool
The big priority will be ensuring plenty of sunscreen for the weekend. While you are at it, think of different ways you can keep cool. Get a spray bottle to fill with water, maybe plan a good cold shower or take a trip to the local pool.
