Three… ways to enjoy the AFL Grand Final

Just because all Victorian teams have been knocked out of this year’s AFL premiership battle does not mean this week should be without celebration of all things footy. Here are three ways to mark the occasion on Saturday.

1. Dress up in your team’s colours

Whether your team made it to the finals or not, show your team spirit by proudly wearing your club’s jersey, scarf, hat, or any other apparel that represents your beloved team. Now’s the time to focus on next year.

2. Find a team to support

Use this opportunity to throw your support behind either the Sydney Swans or the Brisbane Lions. Research the players, the club’s history, and the key rivalries to get a deeper understanding of your new temporary team. This will add an extra layer of excitement to the big day on Saturday.

3. Get together to watch the game

Gather your friends, family, or fellow fans to enjoy the thrilling atmosphere of the Grand Final. Whether it’s at a local pub, a friend’s home, or a community event, experiencing the ups and downs of the game together will create lasting memories for years to come.
