Male cyclist dies following collision in Warburton



Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Warburton this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports a cyclist had been struck along Surrey Road about 11.15am.

The male cyclist, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated at the scene but could not be revived.

The driver of the car, a 30-year-old woman has been arrested and will be interviewed by police.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
