Man injured after street sweeper rollover in Seville

A man was rescued and taken to hospital for treatment after a street sweeper truck rolled over in Seville on the morning of Wednesday 21 August.

A CFA spokesperson said five CFA units from Seville and Wandin attended the scene alongside Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria.

“Crews arrived to find a street sweeper truck rolled, with one occupant trapped, crews worked to free the patient who was passed into the hands of Ambulance Victoria,” they said.

The incident was deemed under control at 7.42am and deemed safe at 7.54am.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed paramedics responded to an incident at Seville around 7.20am on 21 August 2024.

“A man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with upper body injuries,” they said.
