RAYVE Hair Body and Soul on Bell Street in Yarra Glen is the Yarra Valley’s one-stop makeover shop.
The salon offers the latest in hair and beauty treatments including cuts, colours, waxing, massage, manicures, pedicures and nails.
Owner and manager Rebecca Wilcox, who has been at the helm of the hair and beauty salon for the past 12 months, said the salon was going from strength to strength.
“I’m very happy and comfortable here now, and the salon is going in the direction I want it to,” she said.
“We’re keeping up with current trends and meeting all our clients hair and beauty needs.”
Ms Wilcox said the salon caters for the whole family, offering cuts, colours and styling for women, men and children.
She said the salon is staffed by two fully qualified hair stylists and two apprentices, who have expertise in hair styling and beauty treatments for special occasions.
“We cater for people looking for a makeover for their next special occasions,” Ms Wilcox said.
“We can do the whole package – the hair, the face, the nails and the feet for special occasions such as weddings and debutante balls.”
One of the other keys to the salon’s success is the friendly staff and atmosphere, Ms Wilcox said.
“Clients are always commenting on the great atmosphere and on how down to earth the staff are,” she said.
“Customer service is very important to us, so we go that extra distance to make customers feel welcome.”
The cappuccino machine pumping out coffee and hot chocolate, and the salon’s funky, modern decor are an important part of the Rayve experience, Ms Wilcox said.
“Customers come from across the Yarra Valley and they develop an attachment to the staff and to the feel of the place,” she said.
“They also come because they’ve heard they’ll get first class service and a great hair and beauty treatments.”
Rayve Hair Body and Soul also stocks an extensive range of jewellery for special occasions, and uses and sells Matrix hair products.
