Fresh snow has been delivered to Mt Donna Buang on the back of the recent cold front that has been whipping high speeds wind into southern Victoria.
On Friday September 8 the snow forecast for Mount Donna Buang was a moderate fall of snow, which was heaviest in the afternoon.
Mountain Tucker reported via their Facebook page that by Friday 3pm lots more snow has arrived.
The road from the 10- mile car park up towards the summit is currently ungraded and there was lots of snow to play in and toboggan in.
No more snow was expected for Saturday – but it looked like it would last for a little while.
Freeze-thaw conditions were predicted with a max of 3°C on Sunday 10 September morning, with a minimum of -2°C on the Friday night.
