A great opportunity to get rid of any old, dead batteries is coming up with the Rotary Club of Wandin’s batter collection fundraiser.
Rotary members will be set up at the rear of Aldi in Seville and in the Wandin shopping centre car park in front of Wandin Kindergarten on Saturday 13 May from 8am till 1 pm.
All proceeds raised will be going towards one of the Rotary Club of Wandin’s local community projects.
Old batteries can explode, leak, release harmful gases or catch fire so if you have any sitting around, it may be in your best interest to get rid of them.
