The Autumn Firewood Collection season has opened but Forest Fire Management Victoria is reminding people who rely on firewood to plan ahead and ensure they are collecting in season.
Firewood can be collected from 1 March to 30 June during Autumn, and 1 September to 30 November during spring.
Firewood can be collected on public land at nominated collection areas.
