Six patients injured or in pain after Wandin North collision

Paramedics and CFA crews were called to a report of a collision yesterday on Quayle Road at Hunter Road in Wandin North around 12.44pm.

CFA was notified of a possible person trapped and crews worked to extricate one person from the vehicle who was then treated by paramedics.

Six patients were assessed and treated by paramedics at the scene.

A primary school-aged male suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A woman believed to be in her 40s suffered shoulder pain and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.

A primary school-aged male suffered neck pain and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A preschool-aged child suffered abdominal pain and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A man believed to be in his 50s was treated for minor injuries and did not require transport.

A primary school-aged male suffered minor injuries and was taken to Monash Clayton in a stable condition.

Four CFA vehicles were on scene from Wandin and Seville brigades.

The scene was declared under control at 12:55pm.
