As the weather cools down, the likelihood of weeds spreading and ingesting gardens throughout the Yarra Ranges increases as they flower and seed.
Yarra Ranges Council is helping to cover the cost of disposing of weeds, with residents able to apply for a Weed Wipeout tip voucher for eligible weeds.
The Weed Wipeout program has a list of eligible plant and woody weeds that can be covered, consisting of the following:

Montbretia

The Weed Wipeout program can also be used to dispose of woody weeds. For residents who wish to dispose of woody weeds, only foliage and smaller branches will be accepted. Clean tree branches and limbs can be bundled and put out for bundled branch collection.
