Wandin Fire Brigade alert community of training drill

Wandin North residents have been told not to be alarmed if they see smoke billowing in the sky on Wednesday 4 May, as the local Wandin Fire Brigade is conducting a training exercise.

The exercise will take place on Nicholas Rd, Wandin North from about 7.30pm, and will be concluded by 10.30pm.

There will be increased firetruck activity in the area at that time and fake smoke will be used for the simulation and training.

The brigade will be ready and prepared at any moment to respond to emergencies that may arise, so any 000 calls will be answered and responded to should it be necessary.
