Yarra Ranges Council and the Alannah and Madeline Foundation are hosting a free internet information session for parents and carers of children aged 0-8.

The session will be hosted online on Tuesday 10 May 2022, 7pm to 8pm and will not be recorded.

Children as young as 2-years-old are now accessing technology for gaming, social connection and educational and it is increasingly important parents and carers understand all of the apps and programs children use.

The session will help parents understand children’s interest in social media, and how to manage who children are talking to and engaging with, as well as keep young people safe online and reporting inappropriate content.

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national charity with key objectives to prevent and care for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence, reduce the incidence of bullying, cyber bullying and other cyber risks and, advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children.
