Police are investigating an incident of hoon driving that occurred in Wesburn just before 6pm on Saturday 19 March 2022.
A white Holden utility with no plates performed a burnout at the intersection of Station Rd and Warburton Hwy in Wesburn. The driving was reckless and endangered the safety of other road users as well as patrons at the nearby Warburton Hotel. It is believed the driver was egged on by some patrons.
The incident threw up plumes of tire smoke, obscuring the vision of the road.
