Wandin gets the win over Monbulk

Wandin made their way to Monbulk for their Round Two clash following a week off.

A closely contested first quarter saw both teams finding their rhythm in their offence with the Hawks slightly ahead on the scoreboard 3.0,18 to 2.2, 14.

The Dogs established a lead they would not relinquish in the second quarter, going into the main break at 8.3, 51 to 4.1, 25.

Monbulk were kept goalless in the third quarter, only mustering four behinds while Wandin marginally improved their lea with the scores 11.5, 71 to 4.5, 29 at the final change.

By the time the final siren went, Wandin had added another four goals to Monbulk’s two with the final score reading 15.8, 98 to 6.6, 42.
