Lovely weather over the weekend for Pony Club and general riding adventures.

All eyes were on Adelaide for the International Horse Trials attracting huge crowds as always.

From Equestrian Australia:

24 years on from his win in 2000, David Middleton with his homebred ‘WEC In The Money’ have taken out the CCI5 this afternoon courtesy of a brilliant Jumping round, delivering the only clear of the class. After a great Cross Country phase yesterday which only added 8.8 to their score and pushed them up into 3rd place, they finished it off this afternoon at Adelaide Equestrian Festival to take the win on 47.8 penalties.

Olivia Barton and Hollyander HG took 4 rails in the Jumping to push them back into 2nd on 53.4, ahead of Donna Edwards Smith and DSE Mendoza on 63.3. Thank you to the organisers, sponsors and volunteers for such a brilliant event and congratulations to all the competitors.

This coming weekend we have Tintern’s Interschools Horse Trials at Shirley Heights EC in Gladysdale, and Doongala ARC’s Nav Ride weekend. Good luck to all out and about competing.

Happy Riding everyone.
