Sanders retains seventh



As the 2024 Dakar rally nears its conclusion, Three Bridges Daniel Sanders has kept himself within the chasing pack.

Finishing ninth in Stage Eight, Sanders held on to his seventh overall ranking and is now 38 minutes and 43 seconds off of race leader, American Ricky Brabec, who has held his lead on the competition.

Botswanan Ross Branch is in a close second, only 42 seconds behind.

Stage Eight was a success for the Benevides brothers, with Kevin setting the fastest time Luciano only 31 seconds behind is older sibling.

Riders have 507 kilometres to cover in Stage Nine, travelling from Hail to Al Ula.
