Wandin’s Flynn Kroeger delisted by Geelong Cats

Wandin product Flynn Kroeger has been delisted by the Geelong Cats after two years in the AFL system where injuries limited him to three VFL games.

Kroeger was taken at Pick 48 in the 2021 National Draft and was not offered a contract for 2024 ahead of the AFL List Lodgement 1 on Tuesday 31 October.

Geelong Cats General Manager – Football Andrew Mackie acknowledged Kroeger’s time at the Club.

“Flynn is a quality young man and we have enjoyed having him part of our playing squad for the past two seasons and we wish him all the best in his next step.”

A knee injury kept Kroeger to one VFL game in 2022 and he managed two more after being named for his first game of 2023 in Round 21 of the VFseason.
