Reserves Footy for Warburton – Millgrove FNC are heading to the finals today at on Saturday 2 September at 11.55am kick off,

The Reserves have a big job today, taking on Powelltown to try and claim back-to back wins.

Reserves have once again been undefeated all season.

Here is what co-coach Tom Kelly has to say:

“The Reserves boys have had a fantastic season to date. 44 players contributed across the home and away season to see us qualify 1st.

“A good mixture of youth and experience has us primed for a massive game this week vs Powelltown who are well coached and have steadily improved across the season. Good luck to everyone competing and enjoy the day!” he said.

Here is how the boys have gone against Powelltown FNC:

ROUND 3: Powelltown 4.1-25 to Burras 16.18-114

ROUND 7: Powelltown 6.1-37 to Burras 10.11-71

ROUND 11: Burras 9.13-67 to Powelltown 4.7-31

FINAL 1: Burras 7.5-47 to Powelltown 3.7-25

Kelly said he believes these boys can get over the line, they have been a strong team this year with a mix of experience and young!

“Good luck boys, bring the cup home!” he said.
