Seville took on Belgrave at Belgrave under overcast skies and flew out of the blocks with a dominant 1st quarter., Seville piling on 5 goals to 0 to go into the 1st break 31 points up.
Belgrave was having trouble containing Seville’s midfielders and running brigade in the 2nd quarter which saw Seville put another 6 goals on the board while Belgrave recorded 2 majors.
Seville into the main break with a lead of 60 points.
A much improved Belgrave turned up in the 3rd quarter and matched Seville by kicking 3 goals apiece in the 3rd.
3 quarter time break sees Seville with a 66 point lead.
Seville full of running and carry in the last saw them kick 3 goals 6 behinds to Belgrave 3 goals 1 behind.
Seville ran out 71 point winners, with 4 goals for Domenic Aloi and Sonny Saniga as well as 2 goals for Rhys Dhojan and Jye Sciortino. Jack Coshutt, Ryan Farrow, Nathan O’Keefe, Rob Petracca and Jake Strachan all kicked 1.
Seville’s best players on the day were Rhys Dhojan, Rob Petracca, Alastair Gray, Jye Sciortino, Brendan Dickinson and Domenic Aloi.
Seville is back at home next week against Berwick Springs.
