A stuck truck on Maroondah Highway caused traffic diversions in Coldstream.
The driver was attempted to perform a U-turn just after 8.30am but the front of the truck sank into soft soil.
When the Mail passed through the scene about 10.45am the truck filled with plasterboard remained firmly stuck and a tow truck was on its way.
Police were on-scene directing traffic around the blockage via a gravel driveway.
