At a loose end as to the best way to finish the school holidays with a bang?
Circus artist and quirkologist Jens Altheimer’s live theatre show ‘Loose Ends’ at Warburton on Saturday 7 October could be just the trick.
Suitable for ages five to 14, Loose Ends is a theatrical adventure that feels like opening the magic box of a bygone trickster.
Loose Ends makes science and technology cool – it inspires kids and adults alike to tinker with machines, and make their own contraptions and inventions.
Expect custom-built contraptions, headstrong puppets, circus, shadow projection, music, wacky gadgets and a whole lot of fun.
And, be prepared to be included – audience participation is all part of the fun.
Loose Ends features contraptions, tricks and quirky characters, but it’s also a story about friendship, acceptance and loyalty.
There’s plenty of entertainment with a dose of emotion in a story about a man who thinks he can organise all his life in boxes … well, he’ll have to learn a big thing about real friendships.
The Mail and Yarra Ranges Council’s Creative Communities have two double passes to give away for the 7 October show at the Arts Centre, Warburton.
