Gembrook woman killed in crash

A fatal crash on the Belgrave-Gembrook Road in Cockatoo has claimed the life of a 27-year-old Gembrook woman.
Police believe the woman’s black Suzuki sedan was travelling east along Belgrave-Gembrook Road when it left the road and went down an embankment.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances and are yet to determine what time the crash occurred.
