The 2017 Oxfam Trailwalker will hit the tracks and trails of the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley this coming weekend, with hundreds of teams signed up to raise funds for Oxfam.
The event is Australia’s original 100km team endurance event that attracts all levels and ages of walkers, setting off on Friday, 7 April with the last walkers coming through on the Sunday, 9 April.
The walk starts at Jells Park at Wheelers Hill and winds its way through the Corhanwarrabul Wetlands, Churchill and Lysterfield National Parks and on to Belgrave before heading north along Olinda Creek into the Warburton Valley.
Teams of walkers will make their way along the Warburton Trail and on to the O’Shannassy Aqueduct before the final challenge, Mt Little Joe, and on to the finish line at Wesburn Park.
