Police spike tyre vandal

A 42-YEAR-OLD Lilydale man was arrested shortly after 12am on Tuesday 4 October for causing damage to students’ cars parked outside of Mount Lilydale Mercy College.
The man was observed by police, allegedly placing tyre spikes in gutters to cause further damage to students’ tyres.
Lilydale Police arrested and charged the man with two counts of criminal damage.
A number of reports were received, spanning over a few months, Lilydale Police confirmed.
The man will appear at the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
