A MALE is being airlifted to hospital after a lawn-mowing accident at TarraWarra Museum of Art earlier this morning.
Healesville CFA captain Graeme Bates said four local CFA units, as well as Healesville and Lilydale SES, attended the scene along the Healesville-Yarra Glen Road about 9am.
Mr Bates said the man had been on a ride-on mower, mowing on a damp area near a dam when the mower slipped and slid down a hill.
The man eventually became pinned underneath a large tree branch.
While the extent of the man’s injuries is not yet known, Mr Bates expected he may have abdominal injuries.
