AS part of the ongoing work, the Healesville Living and Learning Centre (HLLC) does in the community, they have recently been hosting the students from St Brigid’s Primary School, which has been participating in a Youth Mural Project and Community Garden activities.
Encouraging participation in community activities builds community spirit and pride in young people, and connects them to the world outside their school and home.
It also instils a love of learning at an early age.
For all those older members of the community whose school days didn’t leave them with a love of learning, HLLC can offer a wide range of social, educational and training options to assist you to find a new career, employment or refresh your skills.
