HEALESVILLE had a most unexpected visitor last week, in the form of a snowman, who was set up outside the Healesville Candy Emporium on Tuesday.
Snow is an unusual occurrence in Healesville’s main street, so visitors and residents alike stopped by to take photos of the snowman, and a post about it on the Mail’s Facebook page earned plenty of shares.
The weather was cold enough to sustain the snowman overnight, but by Wednesday the snowman looked a little worse-for-wear – by Thursday, naught was left of the snowman but a clump of snow and a puddle.
Dedicated to covering the most important breaking news, Mail photographers Victoria Stone-Meadows and Jesse Graham were on-the-scene to document the rise and fall of Healesville’s most ephemeral visitor.
