HEALESVILLE driver Justin Pearson stormed home to a stunning victory at the Rushworth Speedway recently.
Excitement was high in the ground-pounding V8 action, but Pearson proved too strong in the inaugural Victorian Late Model Racing season, beating Chevy Edwards and Mick Hetherington who finished strong.
Pearson, from the Healesville Directional Drilling team, set the pace early in heat 1, while setting a one-lap time of 17.078s, winning by .605 of a second from Hetherington.
