THE staff at ‘A Grade Medical’ in Lilydale pride themselves on doing things differently.
Specialising in providing services to women, the elderly and the working community, the family practice is looking forward to opening its doors to the public in the last week of April.
Offering bulk billing, professional doctors and a convenient location, the clinic has developed a strategy in delivering medical attention to diverse sectors of the community.
Practice principal Shaun Perera says that the practice is working to set itself apart from other healthcare providers in the area.
“Our main difference is that we will come to you – our practice will give special attention to the needs of the working community and elderly in the area,” he said.
The clinic is running a number of health campaigns to endeavour to improve the health of the community.
Their digital advertising strategy will be the first in Australia, using LCD screens facing the street to attract passers-by.
Operating with the slogan “the advanced healthcare clinic,” the practice is also running a campaign to prompt clients on their monthly, quarterly and yearly health checks as well as providing valuable health updates.
The focus of the practice is to provide a different service to other competitive GP practices around the area and offer similar or better services.
While patients wait for their appointments, they’ll be able to take advantage of the free wifi offered by the clinic or to view a digital screen informing visitors of upcoming local events.
With a user friendly website and advanced medical technology integrated, the practice certainly lives up to its name as a high-quality clinic.
Mr Perera said the clinic was proud to be a part of the local community.
“Lilydale is a picturesque area and the people are friendly and humble,” he said.
“I am very proud to say that our first centre will be in Lilydale, and there are many more to come.”
