VICTORIAN residents and ratepayers can have their say on their local council’s performance as part of the 2015 Community Satisfaction Survey.
The telephone survey seeks opinion on four main criteria, including council’s overall performance, community consultation, advocacy and customer service.
Minister for Local Government Natalie Hutchins said that 69 councils were participating in the survey with at least 400 local residents selected randomly, totalling more than 27,000 respondents.
Ms Hutchins said the survey was an opportunity for local residents to give feedback on their council and help shape the delivery of local services.
Interviews will be conducted throughout March with participating councils to receive their survey report by the end of May.
The Statewide Local Government Services Report will be published soon after.
