End of an era

THE end of an era has come to Warburton. Pete the Postie who has delivered our mail in oppressive heat and freezing cold with paradise in between for more than 30 years has retired.
Thanks Pete and best wishes to the entire family in your sea change retirement.
A new era has also come to Warburton.
Thanks to the Advancement League team who do the hard labour to keep the river walks manicured, we can see the snakes now.
With special thanks to John who cleans all of the outdoor seats with soap and water so tourists and locals can sit on them without being soiled.
Finally, just clearing up another matter, we are ‘local’ to the objective postcode where we live, nothing more or less.
Karen Grulke,
Warburton.
