Night games to light up

By JESSE GRAHAM

YARRA GLEN is set to light up for night-time games and training next year, with $160,000 in funding announced last week.
Minister for Sport and Recreation, Damian Drum, came to the club last Friday to announce $100,000 in government funding for lights at the netball courts and football oval.
The money will accompany $35,000 from the Yarra Ranges Council and $25,000 from the club.
President, Vincent Erickson, said the money would mean night training, night games and the possibility for community events through the night.
