The U14 kept with Emerald for three quarters, going into the final break 20 points down. Emerald kept the Healesville side goalless in the final quarter to take the game.

This was the first final for the majority of the U13 team in junior football. They put in a mammoth effort to contain the Emerald scoring, but couldn’t find a way to score themselves. They get a second chance in the finals next week.

The U11 started hard and fast against Upwey with two straight goals in the first 5 minutes. Healesville continued to outrun and defend well for the remainder of the game to score a convincing win against a bigger and taller opposition to earn a spot to play for a grand final position next week.
