Batman woman’s raid caper

POLICE are searching for a woman who they say made off with hundreds of dollars in electronics from the Lilydale Marketplace Shopping Centre, and are appealing for public information.
Investigators said that on Thursday 14 August, the woman entered Dick Smith Electronics in the shopping centre and stole two Apple iPads by cutting security cables and running out of the store.
On Tuesday 19 August, the same woman came back to the store and, using the same method, stole a Samsung Galaxy S5 mobile phone.
The woman was wearing a white raglan shirt with the Batman symbol on it during the first raid and a plain black dress in the second.
Lilydale Crime Investigation Unit is following up on the thefts and is appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
