MAIL readers are given the chance to win two double passes to Croydon Cinemas Movie Luncheons.
Director and general manager of the Croydon Cinema’s four screen complex, George Aleksiunas said the lunches had been popular in the past and following requests from customers decided to bring them back.
The screenings are held every second Wednesday, excluding school and public holidays.
“It’s been really well received, we have already sold out for this week,” Mr Aleksiunas said.
“That’s the difference between us and a big cinema – we’re able to listen to our customers.”
He said the luncheons kept on theme with providing a cheap entertainment option for locals in the area.
“We have two options, tea coffee and lunch for $15 including the movie ticket and champagne and lunch for $20,” he said.
“To have lunch and a movie ticket for that price – it’s something we are proud of.”
Reservations are essential and close by 3pm the day before the luncheon.
