TRAFFIC is now running as normal after a two-car crash blocked the Maroondah Highway in Healesville this morning.
Two cars were involved in a crash on the corner of McGrettons Road and the highway at 10.20am this morning.
Police, ambulance and CFA members all attended the crash, diverting traffic through Harker and Ryrie Streets around the wreckage.
The cars were towed away and the site cleared by 10.50am, and traffic is now flowing in both directions without delays.
A CFA member said the cause of the crash had not been established, but that the side of one of the vehicles, and the front of another were extensively damaged.
The driver of one of the cars was taken to hospital by ambulance, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
