CAN anyone in VicRoads or our local state member Cindy McLeish explain to the public why we are spending $1.4 million dollars installing concrete channel and kerbing near the Maroondah Dam on Maroondah Highway?
This project will do nothing to save lives.
My opinion is that this money would have been better spent on improving the Black Spur, for instance a couple of passing lanes whilst heading north would do more to save lives than concrete kerbing.
Am I the only one who often thinks who are these people who sit down in their office in Melbourne and decide this is what needs to be done without any input from the local people?

Healesville.
