WHEN car enthusiast Bruce Frazer says his next car rally, the Piston Steel Shakedown is ‘dog friendly’, he means it.
The charity car show on Saturday, 12 April will raise funds for Animal Aid at Coldstream.
Bruce and his daughter Loretta have organised shows for various charities over the years, and he says he is keen to make this one of their best to support the great animal welfare work Animal Aid does across the Yarra Ranges.
While Bruce’s particular interest is in die-cast models and other car and bike collectables, it is the real thing that will be the big attraction at the Hungarian Community Centre in Wantirna when the gates open for the 2014 Piston Steel Shakedown.
The event will run from from 2pm to 7pm with the Show and Shine featuring hot rods, classic cars and pre-1980s, live bands, a pin-up competition, children’s activities and food and drinks. The event is alcohol-free.
