Chopper called in for bike-fall boy

By JESSE GRAHAM

A PRIMARY school-aged boy has been airlifted to hospital, after falling from his bike earlier this afternoon.
Ambulance officers were called out to the scene of the Healesville incident at 3.40pm, after it was reported that the boy had been injured from the fall.
As a precautionary measure, an ambulance helicopter picked the boy up from the Don Road Sporting Complex’s helipad at 4.10pm, and the child was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital for observation.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed the boy was in a stable condition.
