Revving to go

TARRAWARRA Estate had an unlikely visitor this morning, as a two-seater Formula 1 car drove in past the vineyards as the sun rose.
The car, which featured Cameron McConville behind the wheel and Australian Grand Prix Ambassador Georgia Geminder, completed a demonstration at the winery at sunrise on Wednesday 5 February.
The racing car’s visit was to help bring attention to the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, which will begin in just over five weeks.
Tourism Victoria and VicRoads worked in conjunction with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation to ensure that safety was paramount – road closures were undertaken for the safety of drivers.
