Steiner is open for music

MUSIC will play a big part in the Little Yarra Steiner School Open Day and Fair on Saturday.
Groups from guitar and percussion ensembles to the jazz band, orchestra and marimba groups, along with class ensembles at every level, will take to the stage as part of the annual festival.
There will be two music stages showcasing the highly talented music staff and students and open classrooms from pre-school to year 12 providing an opportunity for members of the wider community see what is on offer at the school.
On the fairgrounds there will be market stalls with lots of unique Christmas gift options, food and drink including wood-fired pizza, ice-cream and Silva coffee as well as children’s activities.
The fair is on Saturday 19 October from 10am to 4pm at 205 Little Yarra Road, Yarra Junction.
