I am 46, have two older sisters. My late father was a school teacher and my mum a medical secretary. My wife Pam and I have two young boys – Thomas and Angus – and two cheeky dogs, Flynn a golden retriever and Maggie, a Lab-cross. We live in Chirnside Park, and all six of us barrack for Carlton.
Cost-of-living pressures and jobs would be the biggest issue in this electorate for me. Our first step will be to scrap the world’s biggest carbon tax. The Coalition’s Real Action Plan will build a strong and prosperous economy with two million new jobs over the next decade. At the local level, I’ve developed a comprehensive local plan to build a stronger local economy and a stronger, safer community.
Unlike Labor’s ‘make a pledge’, ‘break a pledge’ approach, the Coalition says what it means and will do what it says. We have a solid track record of delivering economic prosperity by ensuring government lives within its. My local plan has been fully costed, and will be delivered in full if the Coalition is elected.
