STUDENTS from 12 schools came together at Worawa Aboriginal College last week to compete in the friendly games – the Worawa Reconciliation Sports Carnival.
The aim of the annual event which saw schools including St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully, Healesville High School, Mt Evelyn Christian School, Scotch College, Presbyterian Ladies’ College, and Badger Creek and Healesville primary schools take to the picturesque football ground and the netball courts, is to foster cultural, sporting and social exchange.
Played in brilliant autumn weather with a backdrop of the mountains around Healesville, the event was part of Reconciliation Week activities at the school.
