Hot spot for festival

WANDIN’s Herb and Chilli Fest had all the spice and zing to send most chilli eaters running for water.
From hot chilli chocolate, to chilli dumplings, chilli licorice and chilli chicken wings, the strong scent ran through the air at Clive Larkman’s Romantic Nursery on the weekend.
While Saturday was a bit on the wet side, Sunday was great and the annual event netted about 3500 visitors.
Mr Larkman said everybody who came along seemed to have a great time and really enjoyed trying the different goods.
“I think people got a great appreciation of the variety of food styles that use herbs and chillis,” he said.
